We needed our air conditioning fixed, and Northbay made an appointment the same day. They gave us a quote and then called with a cost of the repair so we knew what to expect. Their customer service was very good... professional, kind and prompt. I would heartily recommend them to anyone needed prompt work on their car.

Don and Mike are the greatest. The operate the facility not with money in mind but with customer satisfaction. I always trust that I'm getting the best service and that the mechanics go out of their way to make sure my car is in best condition when I leave. They are very accessable and will fit me in when necessary. I totally trust them and drive all the way up from San Rafael due to that trust.

Honest, informative, fast. It's great to have a neighborhood auto repair shop you can rely on. My husband and I are regulars for basic service, repairs, tires, batteries, and occasionally we just stop by for a safety check or a question. They'll take time to check it out and tell you what you need to know. Whether it's bad news or good news, you can believe them and get a fair deal.

These guys are friendly, courteous and professional. Their shop is well-organized, clean and conveniently located. I once took my truck (which now has 180K miles) to Northbay with a request for new shocks/tires. Don advised me that my shocks were fine and I could reasonably get another 9 months from my tires before safety/performance was a concern. That's the type of guys they are: building long-term customers instead of trying to make a quick buck!

I returned to North Bay Auto after a couple of years of going elsewhere, having left for no specific reason except thinking maybe the dealer would know more about my vehicle than an independent. WRONG! Glad to be back, as it's very nice to actually see the person who handles the details (Don) know who I am and the history of my repairs.

When we brought the vehicle in for a routine service, Don and the technician determined that brake service and sparkplugs were necessary as well. With 105,000 miles on this vehicle, it operates like new and we know we can count on many more miles of service from the vehicle and the staff at North Bay...by the way, the vehicle was ready when promised.
