I have taken my car to Northbay Automotive twice. I received excellent service on both occasions. They keep in touch, they get you in and out, they're friendy, and they don't gouge you. I would recommend them anytime and plan to go back when I need other services.

It was a good job but, I could have used a tire rotation. How much extra would that have been?

Most honest and straight forward mechanics I've ever dealt with. You've been great with my entire family; my son and my wife have been treated extremely fairly and that is not typical when dealing with car repair. You've got our business for all of our cars. After a jump from the tow truck I was able to drive the mile to Northbay. Don Reed assigned John to take a look immediately, although they had other vehicles before me. Testing proved a dead battery; they had the appropriate one in stock, John installed it and had to attach new contacts as the old ones were very corroded, and I was out of there within a half hour. The cost was fair, even if not in my budget, but that's not Northbay's fault!

I was having trouble with my 2001 Volvo over the weekend and decided to stop into Northbay Automotive early Monday morning. Without having called in advance, I had no idea how soon my car would be fixed and back on the road, but Don had always been so helpful and accommodating in the past so I thought I'd give it a try. Sure enough, Don took my car that morning, had a diagnosis a few hours later, ordered parts, and had me back on the road that afternoon. He kept me in the loop throughout, always being very up front about costs and timing. I couldn't have asked for better service or a better result - my car is now running great! It's such a relief to find an automotive shop you can trust. I will certainly be back - but hopefully not for a while!
