Northbay Automotive has been doing the maintenance on my car for the three years that I've lived in Petaluma. I know they've been doing a good job because during that time I've never experienced any problems with my car, despite putting a lot of mileage on what is now a "middle-aged" car. The mechanics point out potential problems so that they are fixed, and I don't end up in traffic in a disabled car due to something that wasn't noticed in time. I really appreciate that.

These guys never cease to amaze me. They are honest and don't charge more than they have to. They quoted me a range for assessing what my smog problem was, found that it was a simple fix, fixed it, and the bill came out to be way less than what they had quoted. THAT is customer service. By not taking advantage of us (we would have never known that it was an easy fix and most other shops would have just charged us what they quoted and then pocketed the rest) we have started taking all our vehicles to them.

Northbay Automotive has been my 'go to' shop in Petaluma for quite a while. Quality work, and they never do unnecessary work. I can't think of a time Mike and Don didn't complete a promised job at or below their estimate.
