People are probably tired of all our reviews by now but we have so many because we 1) take all our vehicle needs to Northbay and 2) the service is always excellent. This time we needed new tires, SMOG, and an alignment on our Toyota. It was in the shop down the street for some body work while we were on vacation and we were able to arrange to have it dropped off at Northbay so the work could be done before we returned home. Without having to worry a bit, we knew everything would be done right and done on time. Sure enough, everything was completed and we picked the car up as soon as we returned to town. A quick word of advice - check prices at your normal tire shop, SMOG shop, etc before ruling out Northbay Automotive. Their prices are competitive and even when they are a few dollars more, you will get much better service, you will be keeping you money at a locally owned business (instead of Costco or some other chain), and you will find that they are always there for you in the future when you need them. Recently I had a flat and was prepared to leave my car for a few hours. But when I drove in, they dropped everything and 10 minutes later I was on my way. Best of all, I had forgotten that I had bought my tires there. When I went to pay, Don told me there was no charge. He didn't have to go through his files to double check on the tire warranty or make me fill out any paperwork or anything like that. He knew he sold me my tires and simply sent me on my way.Northbay Automotive is one of the many things that makes Petaluma such a great place to live. They treat you like family, they remember you when you call, and best of all, they even remember you when they run into you walking around downtown or at one of the many local events. I have never liked to sport advertisement license plate frames but this last time I even went so far as to have them install one on my car. That is how strongly I feel about them as a business.
